The Adult Education Center at the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton offers free classes to prepare adults in Conway and Perry Counties to earn a GED. ESL classes are also offered free of charge for anyone at least 18 years of age. For more information, call 215-4904.

Neighbor's Table is a free meal is provided from 12-1 PM every Saturday at All Saints' Episcopal Church in Russellville. Doors open at 11 AM with free coffee. All are welcome to attend this no pressure, no questions asked free lunch. Neighbor's Table is celebrating its 6th year of service. All Saints' is located at 501 South Phoenix Avenue.

The Clarksville Lions Club will hold its annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser on Tuesday, March 13th from 6:30 AM – 12:30 PM. Cost for the all-you-can-eat meal, if purchased in advance, is $5 for adults and $3 for ages 12 and under. Cost at the door is only $.50 more. Delivery will be available for orders of five or more. To purchase tickets in advance, do so from any member of the Clarksville Lions Club or Boy Scout Troop 76.

The Morrilton First United Methodist Men will be serving a pancake supper at the church on Thursday (3/15/18) from 4:30-6:30 p.m. No tickets are needed. Donations will be accepted to help with charitable projects in the community.

The CHI St. Vincent Morrilton Auxiliary is holding a yard sale on Friday (3/16/18) from 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. and Saturday (3/17/18) from 7:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. in the Hickey Building at the hospital. Proceeds benefit the project for the hospital front entrance.

The Knights of Columbus Council 10908 in St. Vincent is sponsoring their 25th annual catfish supper on Friday (3/16/18), starting at 5:00 p.m. at the St. Mary Parish Hall in St. Vincent. Fries, hushpuppies, slaw and dessert will also be available. The price is $15 for adults, $5 for children age 5-12 and free for kids age 4 and under. Adult take-out meals are $10. 

The 3rd Annual Ross Roofing Kicking Cancer Kickball Tournament will be held Saturday (3/17/18) at the Morrilton Parks and Recreation softball fields. Entry for the co-ed double elimination tournament is $100 per team. Call Hanna Ross at 208-1599 to sign up. There will also be a Baggo Tournament a live auction bake sale, and games for kids. Proceeds go to Dianna Denton and Ashley Morris to help with expenses for their cancer treatment.

Lake Dardanelle State Park at Russellville will have Family Adventure Days on Saturday and Sunday (3/17-18). There will be hikes, stories, presentations by park interpreters and more. All events are free, and you can contact the park at (479) 967-5516 to learn more.

Pig Eye Corporation is holding a wild game dinner and outdoor expo on Saturday (3/17/18), starting at 9:00 a.m. at the old Scotland School grounds. Several outdoors vendors will be on hand and they'll have door prizes and a raffle of hunting and fishing items. The wild game dinner will start at 5:00 p.m. Proceeds help with the renovation of the old Scotland gymnasium.

Heifer Ranch in Perryville will host a barnyard bonanza for Spring Break on Monday (3/19/18) through Saturday (3/24/18) from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. each day. There will be tractor wagon rides, photos with animals and many other activities for all ages.

The Pope County Library will hold "Spring Fling" the week of March 19th for Spring Break. Activities include a block party, movies, crafts, story times, and STEM challenges. Find the Pope County Library System on Facebook to learn more information.

The Arkansas Tech Small Business & Technology Development Center presents QuickBooks Online for Beginners on Thursday, March 22nd at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville. Topics include navigation, setting up a company, transactions, reconciling accounts, and more. A computer with internet is provided during each interactive session. The first session is 9am to 12pm and the second session is 1pm to 4pm. Cost per session is $65. Seating is limited with registration required.

The Clarksville First Assembly of God Church will hold a free Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 24th. Events begin at 11 AM with lunch for everyone, and there will be prizes – bikes, toys and more. Ages accepted for the hunt include 3 years thru 4th grade and children must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring your lawn chairs and blankets and don’t forget the Easter baskets!

The Morrilton First Assembly of God will offer a pot roast dinner free to the community on Monday (3/26/18) at 6:00 p.m.

Foster kids in Yell and surrounding counties will benefit from an upcoming event in Conway County. Internet comic sensation Heather Land is bringing her "I Ain't Doin It" tour to Morrilton this spring. The performance will be held at the High School's Devil Dog Arena on Thursday, March 29th, at seven p.m. The local fundraiser for Restoration Conferences, is an effort to provide group homes for foster children in Yell County and surrounding areas. The CHI St. Vincent Morrilton Auxiliary is holding an East bake sale and a crazy quilt drawing on Friday (3/30/18) starting at 7:00 a.m. in the hospital dining room.

Members of the Morrilton Rotary Club will be at the T.C. Vaughan Senior Adult Center in Morrilton on Thursday, March 22nd beginning at 10:45 a.m. to assist seniors with any technology questions that they may have. Seniors are encouraged to bring their own devices for hands-on assistance as part of the club's ongoing technology project.
